    This is truly THE BEST Adventure Tour close to Melbourne AND with access to public transport. Kayak through exciting rapids to reach the quaint township of Warrandyte, with the help of your expert guide/s.

    On this action packed tour, you paddle our kayaks about 5km through Class II rapids and flat water on the Yarra River in Warrandyte State Park. Keep an eye for native birds, koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and more as you go.

    Be prepared to get wet from splashing and, of course, the rocky rapids, as you navigate through the chutes, learning to ferry glide and other paddling skills.

    Inclusions

    • White water kayaking on the Yarra River.
    • Park entry fees and permits.
    • Activity briefings and all necessary equipment.
    • Single and double kayaks available.
    • Professional guide/s with activity qualifications.
    • Tour commentary provided in English.

    Exclusions

    • Transfer to Warrandyte. Public transport is available to Warrandyte Bridge, where we can arrange to pick you up and transfer you to start point at Jumping Creek Reserve. Check PTV Journey planner, www.ptv.vic.gov.au

    Know Before You Book

    • Group sizes are limited to current COVID-19 restrictions - please check with our office.
    • All COVID-19 government guidelines are followed including hygienic hand sanitizer, face masks, regular equipment cleaning, staff trained in COVID-19 practices and social distancing.
    • An online Participant Information Form (for PLI compliance) must be completed prior to your tour.  It is a QR code to a Google form and is provided at the meeting point.
    • Tours run for three hours.
    • Participants must be 6 years of age or older, families welcome. 
    • Each child 14 years and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult or another older teenager.
    • If you are pregnant or have back, neck, joint, or muscular problems, you should carefully consider whether to participate. Some assistance is available, so please let your guide know!
    • At least 4 people are required for this activity to take place on weekends. More flexibility on midweek dates.
    • Please leave all precious jewellery and watches at home as they may be damaged or lost while kayaking.
    • You must be able to swim 25m while wearing a PFD (Personal Flotation Device), which is supplied.

    Get out of the City; feel the wind in your hair and the rocks under your finger tips on this amazing one day Rock Climbing and Abseiling Adventure Tour.

    Come alone or bring a friend or two to share the adrenaline rush. Earn the right to enjoy awe-inspiring views of mountains, plains or valleys from the top of your climb or abseil location.

    After an active morning, join your group for a tasty picnic lunch to refuel your energy. Next, move to your second climbing site, where your instructor demonstrates how to abseil or rap jump. Experience the thrill of sailing down the rock face before the afternoon ends too soon and you return to Melbourne.

    Inclusions

    • Rock climbing and abseiling outdoors.

    • Transfer from the Arts Centre Melbourne or Moorabbin train station.
